New Delhi : A 31-year-old National Security Guard (NSG) personnel was found dead in his barracks at the Sudarshan Camp, having sustained a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The deceased was identified as Narender Singh Bhandari, who was serving with the NSG on deputation from the Indian Army.
Police received a PCR call about the incident. A team from IGI police station rushed to the spot, which was at the NSG Sudarshan Camp near Shiv Murti.
“Preliminary inquiry suggested that he suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound,” a senior police officer said, adding that forensic and crime teams examined the scene and collected evidence. TNN
