Delhi pollution today: Air quality remains in ‘very poor’ category across several areas | Delhi News

NEW DELHI:A thick layer of smog has engulfed Delhi as air quality remained in the ‘very poor’ category across several areas on Monday, according to Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB).
The AQI at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium (JLN) recorded 316, while Akshardham recorded an AQI of 378, both classified as ‘very poor’ by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB).
At least eight monitoring stations, including Anand Vihar, Ashok Vihar, Alipur, Bawana, Jahangirpuri, Wazirpur, Rohini, and RK Puram, reported ‘very poor’ air quality on Sunday evening.
According to AQI classifications, an AQI of 0-50 is ‘good,’ 51-100 ‘satisfactory,’ 101-200 ‘moderate,’ 201-300 ‘poor,’ 301-400 ‘very poor,’ and 401-500 ‘severe.’
